Dr. Domek was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She attended undergrad at the University of Illinois Champagne-Urbana where she double majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Psychology. After college Dr Domek then went on to pursue her passion for medicine by attending Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating with her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) in 2012, Dr. Domek then furthered her education by completing a three-year PMSR residency at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines, VA. Post-residency, Dr. Domek stayed in the Chicagoland area. She is the owner of two podiatry offices, Podiatry of Arlington Heights and Podiatry of Chicago.
Dr. Domek is triple board certified with ABFAS, ABPM, and ABWM. Although she actively practices all areas of podiatric medicine, she concentrates much of her time on wound care and practice management. Dr. Domek became a fellow of the AAPPM in 2022 and was voted on the Board of Directors in 2023.
Outside of her podiatry career, Dr. Domek is a wife and mother of three children. She enjoys distance running, pickleball, and gardening. She proudly volunteers as a Girl Scout Troop leader and PTA board member.
