Medicine is changing rapidly, and physicians need to be ready to change with it. With 2017 right around the corner, now is the time to be preparing yourself and your practice to handle the changes and challenges that are coming your way. At the AAPPM, we know that with the right preparation, you can not only handle them, you can succeed and thrive in your own practice. That’s why we have the Fall Practice Management Symposium: to equip and enable you with the knowledge you need for the coming year. Join us November 10-12, 2016, for this incredible conference!
Learning from The Best
This year’s symposium is covering new ground as well as bringing back popular workshops with experts in the field of podiatry who have the tools and knowledge you need to succeed. This isn’t just a series of lectures for you to passively listen to, either. This is a learning experience designed so you leave with an action plan. More than that, the symposium is registered with the Council of Podiatric Medical Education to provide up to 15.0 continuing education contact hours.
Highlights of the 2016 Fall Practice Management Symposium include our keynote speaker, Dr. David Helfman, who’s discussing the importance of adding ancillary services. Guest Rem Jackson and his team will be covering successful integration of an associate doctor into your practice. Additional guests include Dr. Sev Hyrwnak and Dr. John Guiliana, discussing the possibilities of a cash-only practice, along with Colleen Harryman from Noridian Medicare, discussing how to prepare for and prevent DME audits.
The 2016 Fall Practice Management Symposium is a great opportunity for podiatrists, medical assistants, and office managers alike—but registration fills up quickly. Now is the time to register and reserve spots for you and your staff. If you’re not a current member of the AAPPM, you may want to rethink things – members gain significant discounts on events. Highlighting Our Workshops
Our workshops remain one of the most popular aspects of the AAPPM Fall Practice Management Symposium. We’re happy to bring back some of our most popular options, as well as introduce you to a variety of new ones. Workshops come in multiple tracks: some are designed for doctors, others for medical assistants, and others for office managers. This year we even have the first-ever Certified Medical Office Manager for Podiatry (CMOM-POD) final exam and graduation, providing our CMOM-POD attendees with their certification that weekend. Take time to learn more about the workshops to get the most out of the symposium.
Our Exhibits and Special Offers
Every year we partner with some incredible organizations that provide podiatrists with tools, training, and more to help you succeed. In fact, one of our speakers, Dr. John Guiliana, is offering a 30 minute free consultation – ask him any questions about practice management and he’ll help set you on the right path for success. Come visit with our partners and exhibitors to take advantage of our special offers to get great values for your practice.
Not an AAPPM Member?
Podiatrists from all walks of life and degrees of experience come to the Fall Practice Management Symposium every year—both AAPPM members and non-members alike. Membership with the AAPPM does provide a wide variety of additional benefits, however, both at the conference and beyond it. Learn more about the benefits of membership and our resources for podiatry practices. It might be what you need to make the most of this conference and prepare for the future.
